In this ZBrush sculpting training lesson, your instructor demonstrates how to make minor adjustments to the geometry of your scarecrow model to fix problems caused by moving the arms in the last video. You will also learn how to export the components that you made changes to back out from Maya.
- [Instructor] So this all complete at this state.…I'm going to delete my history.…Of course, you can save the Maya file, too,…prior to doing that.…I'm going to delete my history…and at that point my rig is no longer needed.…So, you can either delete it…or just put in onto a new layer…if you plan on maybe coming back…and using it later on,…and now, I'll just make the minor changes…to the geometry as I mentioned before.…
Some of the mesh has issues that need to be corrected,…because of the low poly count,…(clicking)…but these are really small problems compared…to the amount of headache we would've had…doing all of this in ZBrush,…and then I'll perfect that loop later on in ZBrush…when I have more mesh to work with.…
(clicking)…I'll just make a few more changes here.…Looks as though I have a twist in the character's arm…which I actually don't want.…That's going to cause some problems.…So, I'm going to untwist that…(clicking)…and clean it up a bit.…
I'll also move the glove…and it looks as though my glove…needs to be more in a rotated state.…
