Quickly change the order of subtools in ZBrush with these tips. Also, learn to easily navigate the subtool palette.
- When you have a lot of subtools in your scene,…it can be hard to keep track of them all.…With the latest update to ZBrush,…there are a few changes…that can help keep everything straight.…Let's take a look at them.…One of my biggest frustrations…with the previous versions of ZBrush,…was that if you toggled the visibility…of the active sub-tool,…it would toggle visibility for all other subtools.…So, let's say for example, here are you sub tools,…that you've got helmet one as your active sub-tool.…In version 4R7 and earlier,…if you clicked on the eyeball to turn visibility on and off…for the one sub-tool you have selected,…it would turn all of them on or off.…
It was really annoying,…because it was really easy to accidentally do it.…And if I had my sub-tool visibility…set up a very particular way,…then it would all get ruined.…Now, when you click on the eyeball for the active sub-tool,…it only affects that one sub-tool,…which is what makes sense to me.…However, you can still toggle all of the visibility…for all of the subtools on and off at once,…
