In this ZBrush sculpting training lesson, you will learn about DynaMesh and ZRemesher. Your instructor shows you how to use DynaMesh to recalculate the topology and reorganize the polygons when the mesh becomes too distorted, and how to use ZRemesher to retopologize the mesh to reduce the total polygons in your model.
- [Instructor] Before we get started…you'll notice I added a few of my favorite…mat cat materials on the left side panel…adjusting my custom UI under preferences…as I demonstrated earlier in the course.…In this lesson I'd like to demonstrate working with…Dynamesh and ZRemesher.…I mentioned both of those tools together…because I tend to use both of them…while working through my projects.…The Dynamesh is a very powerful tool.…What it does is it allows you to work very organically…and focus on sculpting in a fluid manner.…
What it also does is it helps you to…constantly keep your typology clean without any distortions…so you won't have any issues with sculpting…because you can keep updating the typology.…Let me explain.…I'm going to go over into my primitives…and I'll just create a sphere.…I'll make that a polymesh.…So what I'll do is I'll increase a divisions on my sphere…so that I can sculpt with a higher resolution.…
However, before I do any sculpting…I'm going to enable Dynamesh.…I'll keep the settings at default for now.…
