Inserting and removing edges

- One of the poly-modeling features that I use most of all regardless of whether I'm in ZBrush, Maya, or anywhere else is inserting and removing Edge Loops. It's a great way to locally increase or decrease detail levels in your models. So lets see how it works in ZModeler. Okay let's take a look at this character's legs so alt-click on the legs to make them the active sub tool and we can turn on Solo Mode so we see just those. We can go ahead and zoom in and hit shift F to turn on Wire Frame. So you can it's not too bad but the distribution of edge loops is a little out of proportion there's a lot more going vertically and a lot fewer going horizontally. So if we want this to be a good surface to sculpt on we might to even that out somewhat. So let's switch to ZModeler brush b,z,m. I'll just zoom in a little bit closer here. Okay now hovering over an edge, hold down the space bar and let's go to Insert, and single edge…
