Increase the mesh detail
- [Narrator] Now that the overall mesh for the head is done, we can go in and selectively increase detail in certain areas that should be sharper or conform to the sculpt more closely. For this, we'll use inserted edge loops like we have before but also use a new tool called multi cut. Let's see how. Okay, so let's take a closer look at the area around the eyes. So you can see in the raw sculpt that there's kind of a tight crease around the upper eyelid and the lower eyelid. And currently we have one edge loop in that area. If we add another edge loop, it'll help tighten up a crease right there. So this can simply be done the same way we been doing it before. I'll just come in here and hold down control and add a new edge loop. Now let's visualize this a little bit better. It can be hard to see exactly what kind of effect this extra edge loop is having on the model. So what we can do is we can go out of the quad draw tool.
