In this ZBrush sculpting training lesson, your instructor demonstrates the methods you will use to import the components of the arms and gloves for your scarecrow model that you repositioned using Maya in the last video, back into ZBrush so that you can make final adjustments before you begin to apply color with Polypaint.
- [Instructor] Okay, now back in ZBrush,…I'll come over to my subtool,…and I wanna make sure that I select on the subtool…that I'm reimporting.…In this case it's going to be the left glove.…I'll go to import, left glove,…and say open.…It immediately snaps right to the location.…
I'll locate the left forearm,…import, left forearm,…and then finally the left arm.…Great.…So you can see it's made easy work of positioning for me.…Now under geometry I can see…if everything worked out really well.…
And I'll bring that back up to its highest level.…It actually droops over fairly nicely.…I could very easily tighten this up in ZBrush…with my sculpting,…but that made very easy work for me.…Once again, I'll go into the forearm.…Increase that subdivision level.…
And then finally the glove.…Okay, so there you have it.…You can see how everything has now been repositioned.…I'm going to work through all of the remaining parts…that I want to modify in the same manner…and bring those in,…and essentially reposition all the parts of my scarecrow…
