In this ZBrush training lesson, your instructor, Michael Ingrassia, demonstrates how to create BPR renders of your model in ZBrush. You will render several images and occlusion maps in ZBrush with different settings, to use as composite layers to create a final beauty render for your scarecrow scene model. You learn how to export the render images to a folder so you can work with them in Photoshop.
- [Presenter] I'm now in the final stages of the project.…I've completed all of the polypainting of the character,…and I'm now ready to set up some renders.…The first thing I want to do before…I get involved in working with the BPR render,…is I'd like to just render out what I have currently,…as is without any lighting set up.…So, first thing I want to do is…go over to the zoom document button,…and actually zoom out.…
What that does, is it shows me…what my full document size is.…Now you can change this document size…if you want at this time.…I just want to make sure that my…model is maxed out to the edges of…the document size.…So the first thing I'll do is go to document,…and say, export.…And that's just gonna export out into my document folder.…
I'll call this, test image one.…And I'll save that out.…And now inside Photoshop,…I'll go ahead and I'll open up…the document that we just rendered.…And what I'm basically looking for,…is how does everything look in terms of the shadows,…in terms of the lighting,…because I am currently working with just the Matcap.…
