In some instances you'll want to print a model that is larger than the maximum print volume of a particular printer. In this case, you'll usually have to cut the model into smaller pieces, print them separately, and then glue them together. In this video, I'll show you a technique for getting this done. First, you'll want to determine the maximum print size relative to the size of the model. This, of course, will be different for every situation. In this case let's make it simple and cut the model in two. Now let's look at the size of the model. Under geometry, open up the size sub palette and you can see that it is 40 centimeters tall. Now let's just say that the maximum print dimension is 25 centimeters. So we need to find a place to cut the model into two. I think cutting it right above the ears should be good.
