In this ZBrush sculpting training lesson, you learn the basics for how to create shapes with ZSpheres and adjust positioning of the spheres in the model using the Move tool. Once you complete the creation of the scarecrow’s necklace with the ZSpheres, your instructor will show you how to convert the ZSpheres shape to a mesh that can be added to the scarecrow.
- [Instructor] Now let's talk about Z Spheres and how…we go about creating them.…Under the Tool menu, look for the Simple brush,…and when you select on it, you'll come up with a menu…that has several primitives as well as the Z Sphere.…I'll select Z Sphere and drag it out in the window,…pressing on T for edit mode, then you'll notice when I…put my cursor on top of the Z sphere, I actually have the…node following me.…This will allow me to actually create an additional…connection on the sphere.…
I'll just back up for a moment, because I can press on…my X symmetry and do two at the same time.…Now I can adjust these by switching over to my Move tool…and simply moving these out.…Because I want the middle of the sphere to essentially be…the same size as these two, I'll switch over to Scale,…take off X Symmetry and I'll scale down the middle.…And so now I'm basically working with these three spheres.…
I'll switch back to my draw mode so that I can drag out…another sphere.…Once again, moving that out.…What I'm looking to do is essentially create the necklace…
