- Now we're ready to get into the fun stuff, sculpting! It can be daunting to look at a plain old sphere and try to turn it into a head. In this video, I'll show you how to start out simple and create the basic shapes. So, I'm going to start out with the Dynamesh 16. It's one of the files that comes with ZBrush in the Project folder here in the LightBox. So, just go ahead and double-click on that. A couple things I want to do to set up. I like to put a different material for sculpting. So, let's go over to the material swatch. And let's pick MatCap Skin06. This is my favorite, you can choose whichever one you like. And I'm also going to set the color to white. So we just get the natural color of that material. Remember to get your reference images out. I'm using the reference images from the Free Exercise Files, Spencer folder, and from the neutral folder.
