- [Instructor] So the benefits of using the Kitbashing technique are very clear in an environment where you need to produce multiple design options. Or maybe where the time frame to deliver a concept is very short. The technique itself is rather simple but learning the workflow, it can give you the advantage in an industry that moves and evolves at a very fast pace. Having a solid library of assets and a good understanding of the Kitbashing technique will allow you to iterate and produce design variations in a rapid manner. One of the things you should be careful with though, is not to overuse a particular asset in multiple designs. Ultimately, what you're doing with this Kitbashing technique is repurposing another object. So it is easy to let that asset or that object dictate the style or shape of a new design.
