- [Narrator] We all like to be popular, and your impression click-through rate can basically tell you how popular you are. It's the percentage of times a viewer clicked on your video after seeing its thumbnail displayed either on their home page, the up next section on a watch page, or in their search results or subscription feed. Your click-through rate, or CTR for short, can help tell you if your thumbnails and titles are working. The more interesting and engaging your thumbnails and titles are, the more inclined a viewer will be to click on them. It's like having puka shells and frosted tips in the '90s. You can see your overall click-through rate percentage in your channel's analytics on the reach tab. Here, you can see my click-through rate for the date range selected is 17.6%, which is actually pretty high. On average, half of all videos and channels on YouTube have a click-through rate between two and 10%. This…
