Audience demographics: Top countries

- [Instructor] Right-o chap, it's time we skip across the pond and get into international waters. Knowing where your audience lives can have a major impact on your channel. It can dictate things like when you release a video, or which languages you decide to offer subtitles and closed captions for. You can view these analytics from your audience dashboard. Scroll down to the top countries section, and from there, click on the see more button. Here YouTube displays your top five countries that your viewers live in. It automatically displays the data for the past 28 days, but I suggest setting a slightly larger sample by changing the date range to the past 90 days. Here you can see my top country is actually Mexico. Now that I know this, I might want to consider offering subtitles and closed captions in Spanish to better cater to them.
