- [Instructor] I'd like to give you a little preview of the application we're going to build for both Android and IOS. So you get a sense of what we're doing throughout the course and how it'll all come together. So you can see an Android device simulator on the left, we have our scrolling list of products, and we can drill in. And likewise on the IOS device, go through that list and drill into those items. We've got some peegs here to show product details, going to allow us to create favorites. Both platforms where we save those out to a file and then if we order, it's going to take us to a screen where we can specify the number of items that we want. We can go in there and use the stepper, we can rate these items. So same thing here on Android, I can go in and change the number of items I want. I can rate it with stars, and we can place our order and get a little confirmation that our order has succeeded. What you notice is, that the functionality is very much the same, the look and feel, is slightly different on each platform but almost all of this user interface is using shared definitions, We've incorporated some custom controls and some controls from IOS and Android themselves, such as the stars for rating here and the segmented control for IOS.
