Learn how to use the Xamarin.iOS Designer to design a responsive, multi-screen iOS application.
- [Helen] Hello, and welcome to introduction to the Xamarin.iOS designer, brought to you by the team at Microsoft Xamarin University. My name is Helen Miller, and I'm a content developer here at Xamarin University, and I'll be guiding you through the foundations of building iOS apps in C# using Xamarin. - You're also going to hear from my colleague, Jesse Dietrichson, he's another content developer and a Xamarin trainer. It can be challenging to create a UI that looks good and works well on multiple devices with different screen sizes and different pixel densities.
In this course, you'll learn how to use the Xamarin.iOS designer to create your UI, you'll also learn the basics of using constraints to make your app responsive to different screen sizes and form factors. We then broaden the discussion to show you how to use segues in the storyboard to link together multiple pages in your app. We'll be guiding you through a series of videos, and have provided exercises where you can apply what you've learned. We've also provided completed solutions so you can check your work. By the end of this course, you'll be able to use the Xamarin.iOS designer to create a UI using constraints, to make your screen responsive.
So with that, let's get started.
This course was created by Xamarin University. We are honored to host this training in our library.
