- Okay, reminder words. Reminder words are words that help steer readers through what you're saying through the narrative. So it stops them getting lost, keeps them on track. And sometimes you can be reading something and you get little mental blanks because you really haven't made clear, you haven't steered readers, held their hand as you're taking them through what you're saying. And that's very harmful to the reading experience. So when you understand what reminder words are that help get your reader back on track. Take this example. The galaxy is made up of multiple solar systems, each containing many suns, stars, and planets, all of which are influenced by gravity. However, their movements can't easily be predicted.
