- Okay, guys, so, remember that we established our purpose in a earlier stage of the edit. We defined exactly what it was that we wanted to achieve through this particular piece of writing and we came up with something like this. The article is aimed at informing Sri Lankans about a new government plan to label sugary drinks to help improve the nation's health. Now, with this purpose clearly in mind, we want to now evaluate each point to determine whether it's relevant to that purpose. We already saw, kept all the points that made sense but now we're looking at whether it's relevant to the purpose that we've set up. Literally delete anything that you think isn't relevant. You may not find anything but it's a process you gotta go through and the process is somewhat subjective. You may feel that something is relevant that I or someone else may think is irrelevant and that's okay as long as you're guided by your instinct.
