Is every person and entity correctly introduced?
From the course: Editing Mastery: How to Edit Writing to Perfection
Is every person and entity correctly introduced?
- Now a big source of untidiness in writing is when people and organizations and other entities are introduced poorly. This definitely affects the style of the writing in a bad way, so the next thing I want you to do is to go through the piece as it stands and look at every person or entity and see whether they are introduced in a nice way. Whether they're referenced in a tidy way, that's what I mean. Use the latest version from the resources section and just have a think about, I don't want to say too much about what to do there, but view, I just want you to exercise your mind and try and decide what you can do, and then come back and I'll show you what I would do.
