(gentle music) - [Jessica] Now that we have your baseline active daily word count, we have a nice starting line. Moving forward, we need to measure your active daily word count on a daily basis so you can track your improvement. To do this, we've included a handy Google spreadsheet called The Writing Mastery Word Count Tracker, which you'll find a link to in the resources section of this lecture. Let me walk you through how to use it. This is the Writing Mastery Word Count Tracker. It consists of two tabs, active daily word count calculator and progress tracker. We'll start by talking about the active daily word count calculator, which is this page. One important thing to note when you're working in the tracker, only enter data in the yellow fields. Don't enter any data in the gray fields. The first thing you must do to use the calculator is enter your starting active daily word count, which is what we calculated in the last lecture.
