- [Instructor] Are you sick of revising that manuscript yet? Well, the bad news is the revision process is not over. Your agent will probably have a few tweaks they would like you to make before submitting it to publishers. The good news however, is that now at least you have a professional helping you out. You're no longer stumbling in the dark, searching for hidden meanings in rejection letters or relying on the input of friends. Now you have a bonafide agent, and they should have a solid insight into the industry and what publishers are or are not looking for right now. So listen to your agent with an open mind and if their suggestions make sense, by all means, make those changes. If on the other hand you don't agree with your agent's suggestions for revision, you can certainly say no, but be prepared to have a good reason.
