- [Instructor] And now, we reach our fourth and final part of the query letter. In this part, you'll tell the agent who you are and how they can get their hands on the rest of this fantastic book. This is where I recommend including a brief bio about yourself. And I'm going to put the emphasis on the word brief. It's nice to give the reader a little glimpse of who is writing this book and what makes you interesting. But it's also important to keep it succinct and to the point, basic things like your name, your occupation, if you have another job besides writing, or where you live, are good to include. However, the most important thing to include in this section is anything that sells you as a writer, anything that tells the agent, and eventually the editor, that you have a quality that sets you apart from all the other fiction writers out there.
