- We've talked about crafting a blog post and what goes into it before you publish, but your work doesn't end when you send it live for all the world to see. Perhaps the hardest part of all comes when people read the thing and begin to comment on it. Whether you're posting to your own personal blog with comments enabled or posting to a news feed like LinkedIn which allows readers to comment below each posted article, reader engagement is a good thing. You want to encourage folks to share their honest reactions to what you write. And if your post is useful and focused, timely and fresh, and you've written it with passion and voice about a subject you know a lot about, then your readers are likely to leave terrific feedback.
