- Indulge me for a moment. Think back to your favorite high school teacher. The one who truly captured your attention, whose class you actually hated to miss and whose teaching really rubbed off on you, had a lasting impact on you in some way. Now, I'm willing to bet the reason that teacher made an impression on you is because of their palpable passion for the subject they were teaching. Conviction is contagious.
