- You've done the hard part. You wrote the email, composed the letter, drafted the memo. Now all that's left to do is proofread. It's actually so much easier than writing in the first place. So what's the first thing you need to do? Congratulate yourself, then go get a glass of water, a cup of coffee, or just take a brief walk around.
