Careless repetition

- One of the biggest mistakes that amateur writers make is that they repeat themselves. It happens mostly unconsciously. They'll repeat points or details, maybe in a slightly different way than the first time they said it, but really it's just saying the same thing twice. And here's a crude example. Ambiguity can occur at any time in your writing, so you need to be able to spot the many different ways it can crop up in your writing. So you see in your writing and in your writing is repeated. Now what can you do about something like that? In that case, it's very easy. You just delete one of the mentions, so you say ...
