This brain hack is all about using the power of the subconscious and holding yourself accountable by writing down both daily goals and short-term goals. One of the most effective ways of tricking your brain into getting more stuff done is to write down exactly what you want to get done. Your subconscious mind is super powerful, and very susceptible to persuasion, which can be a double-edged sword. It's why when you start your day with things like phones and emails and social media and newscasters, you're easily distracted and led off course from what you really need to get done that day. On the other hand, you can use this to your advantage by persuading your subconscious to do things you want it to do. This is the act of setting your course.
