(uplifting music) - [Instructor] The third thing I do after I wake up in the morning is I take my dogs for a short walk. I'm talking five minutes, this is not a full-blown workout. This is just something to get my body moving, my blood flowing and my brain turned on. It continues the forward momentum you started by literally jumping out of bed. It doesn't matter what it is as long as you're doing something physical. Nothing overly exerting or strenuous. You don't have to run a marathon here. Just something quick that gets your heart pumping a little. A few pushups, a few yoga sun salutations, a brisk walk around the block, a burpee or two. This step is like booting up your brain computer's operating system. It gets things running. You can't use your brain computer until after you've given it a chance to warm up, so this is a chance to get some blood flowing to the brain and get it thinking.
