The customizer and advanced customizing methods
- [Instructor] The Customizer is one of the best ways to make changes to your WordPress site visually without knowing code. This is a section found in every WordPress dashboard, but its features could change based on the theme you're using. Let's take a look. To access the Customizer, go to Appearance, Customize. On the left, you'll see a panel of options. On the right, you'll see your live site. The beauty of the Customizer is you can make changes on the left and see them in real time, without making those changes for other users to see. Some of these options are managed by WordPress and will always be there. Site identity, colors, menus, widgets, homepage settings, and additional CSS, which is where you can put custom CSS without worrying about losing it when you update your themes and plugins Some of the options will depend on your theme.
