- [Narrator] Your website is a tool to share your products and passions with the world. Whether it's a personal project, or a global business, your information is important. And everybody should have the opportunity to experience it. Creating a website that's accessible to users with disabilities is an important step towards reaching that greater audience. In this course I'll introduce you to building accessible websites using WordPress. We'll explore how WordPress themes, plugins, and core software interact to shape the user experience. And talk about how you can write great content that's understandable to everybody. You'll gain experience testing the accessibility of websites, as well as an understanding of the tools available to help you construct your own accessible WordPress site. I'm Joe Dolson, and I've been a leader in WordPress accessibility for many years, stemming from my passion to create an equitable user experience for all, and I'm excited to share that passion with you.
