- [Instructor] If you found the process I showcased in the previous two movies, Downloading ZIP Archives and manually swapping out files and folders to be too manual, or too tedious, or too risky, there are a couple of plugins that can make this process a bit more streamlined. They're also really useful if your internet site has a lot of traffic and use, because the downtime and potential errors as folders are deleted and replaced is much reduced. The plugins in question, Duplicator you see here, and WP Migrate DB Pro are both meant to do the same thing: migrate an entire site, so the database, all the settings, WordPress itself, and any uploaded content from one location to another. So from a local server to the web or from one domain on the web to another or from the web to a local server.
