Set up a local development environment

- When you're installing plug-ins and themes you can usually do that on your main website or on a test website and then move those files to your live site. But when you're writing code it saves you a ton of time having a local development environment. A local development environment is when you turn your computer into a mini web server that can render and view WordPress pages. There are a ton of good reasons to do this but the biggest one is saving time. If you're using your live site or a test site you have to edit files, save them, upload them to the server, and then wait for them to finish uploading, and then finally load the page to make sure everything works right. With a local environment, you skip the step of uploading and waiting for the upload to complete. Since it will only take you a few minutes to set up your local development environment, and you'll save much more time than that, I strongly recommend setting up this environment before continuing the corse.
