- [Instructor] Arguably the most important file in the WordPress file structure is the WP config file. This is the very first file that any web user has to access in order to get connected to your database and make WordPress run properly. There are a couple of things that we can do to the WP config file to strengthen it and make it more secure. When you first open up the WP config file, you should be able to find salt keys and authentication keys. And they looks something like this. It's a good idea to change these two different unique phrases. You can generate these phrases using this link. You can change these at any point in time to invalidate all existing cookies, and this will force all users to have to log into your website over again.
