- [Instructor] Last but not least I wanted to mention Jetpack's Site Accelerator Jetpack is a free plugin available on wordpress.org that has a suitcase full of features. Everything from site customization tools to malware scanning. One of those features is the Site Accelerator. This is used to host static assets like JavaScript and CSS. It also provides image optimization and hosts images from your site on their servers, providing faster load times. That said, Site Accelerator has a number of limitations. For starters, the image CDN only applies to images on post and pages. If your WordPress site is using custom post types, they won't benefit from Site Accelerator. Additionally, the CDN only hosts assets that ship as part of WordPress core, Jetpack and WooCommerce. It doesn't support style or script assets from your theme or other plugins.
