How themes without block support work

- [Instructor] Before we start adding block editor support to a theme, let's take a look at how a theme without any block editor support handles the theme unit test data and its blocks. The theme I'll be working with, called Simone, was last updated well before blocks were introduced, so it's a really good candidate. I've already installed and activated Simone on my local site and as you can see, when we start scrolling through the content of these different block unit tests, a lot of things are working out of the box. For example, the columns block allows us to create these custom columns and here you can see two columns, three columns, four columns, five columns and so on. And everything appears to be working, although if we read a little closer you can see here it says "Next is a 3 column block, with a wide alignment:" But obviously there's no wide alignment happening here, because the theme doesn't support that.
