- [Instructor] We've conducted a crawl using Screaming Frog on saltandsimple.com and I'd like to start by evaluating the page titles. So I've gone ahead and selected page titles from the tabs towards the top of the screen. Now it's important that every page title is unique, clearly named, and relevant to the content on the page, and to show you what I mean, let's select the first link here in the table. Down below I've selected SERP Snippet which is showing me what this listing looks like in Google search results, and you'll see right away that home dash Salt and Simple, isn't really that effective of a title tag. Now the components within the search results are your title tag, your URL and then the meta description. Now Google doesn't always take the meta description that you provide, oftentimes it generates its own using the content on your site. But we can guide it by using that meta description.
