- [Instructor] A well optimized site will have a thoughtful approach to information architecture. Google needs to understand what content is most important to your visitors. And the way you decide to organize your site sends a signal to Google on what is and what isn't important. A logical and properly constructed site architecture makes your goals very clear to Google, but also very helpful to your visitors. Let's visualize this. Think about how we might organize our own Files. Let's say that we need to pull a client's invoice, but we can't search for it, instead we simply have to navigate through folders to locate that document. Now if we were well organized, it might look something like this. I have a folder Clients, within that I have Salt & Simple, I can select Invoices, 2019, and let's say I'm looking for this invoice in September.
