Creating global attributes
- We've already covered how to create a custom attribute. This time, I'm going to show you how to create global attributes that can be reused between products. Basically, if you're ever going to reuse an attribute between products, I recommend you make it a global attribute. That'll prevent a lot of human error. In the menu, let's go to products, and then attributes. We can type in the name of the attribute here, let's go ahead and type in size, and I'll click add attribute. Then we can click configure terms. These are going to be the different sizes we offer. So I'll type in small, medium, large, and extra large, and now let's go back to our product, I'll click on all products, and tee shirt. We'll scroll down, and the first thing we have to do is add this global attribute to our product. So let's go to the pull down menu and click size, then click add, Let's go ahead and check 'Used for variations' and here we can select the specific values so let's select all and we can see that…
