- When it comes to furthering your technical SEO, and increasing the speed that your website operates, you're going to want to set up a Content Delivery Network. A Content Delivery Network, or CDN for short, allows the assets, that are delivered on your website to load much quicker for the end user. So your HTML, your style sheets, your images, and any video files, and so on, are all cached and served from a web server that is closer to the end user. So the idea is, your web host might be say in Houston, and your user is in Oregon. What a content delivery network does, is it takes any static content from that server in Houston, and stores it in a server in Oregon. So when the user in Oregon goes to visit your website, they will receive the content that is statically served local to them.
