Connect WordPress to the database

- [Instructor] Now that we have uploaded all of the WordPress files to the server, it's time to prepare the configuration file so that WordPress can communicate with the database. First, visit your site in a browser. At this point, the configuration file does not yet exist. So WordPress will begin the setup config process. The setup config process begins with the language screen where you can choose the language for your WordPress site. Then click continue. Here on the next screen, WordPress asks for the following information: the database name, username, password, host, and table prefix. Look familiar? It should. This is the same information that we have been collecting in our WordPress text file. Currently, the file includes everything except for the database host and table prefix.
