- [Instructor] To have a true ecommerce site, you need to be able to accept payment online. Being able to take payment turns your website from a catalog into a real store. There's a couple of ways that this can happen. Someone can log into an account where they keep their virtual money, and they could transfer it to your account. A good example of this would be PayPal, which we'll set up in a future video. Another option is for someone to type in their credit card details into your site and use technology on your side to communicate with a bank to validate and draw funds. An example of this would be Stripe, which we'll also set up in a future video. Now, all of this might sound a bit complicated, and that's because it is complicated.
