Change what the front page displays

- [Instructor] By default, the front page of all WordPress sites is the blog index, a reverse chronological index of the latest published blog posts, but there are many cases where you don't want this to be the front page. Maybe you're running a small business and you want to have a landing page before people go to the blog, or the blog is a secondary aspect of the site, or you have a site where you don't actually have any blogs. You just have static pages. In all those cases, you need to change what is displayed on the front page, and this can be done through the customizer. If you go to the customizer, you'll find the Homepage Settings option, and here you find two settings that are oddly familiar. That's because when we were talking about the settings and the reading settings, we have this option at the very top, Your homepage displays, Your latest posts or A static page.
