Join Morten Rand-Hendriksen for an in-depth discussion in this video Change the site title and tagline, part of WordPress Themes: Twenty Seventeen.
- (Speaker) 2017 comes with a long list of…customization options, and in this chapter…I'll show you what the options are,…and how to use them.…We start off by going to the customizer,…you can do this from any page, but I recommend…starting on the front page,…simply go to the Wordpress toolbar and click customize,…and from here we'll start with the site title,…tagline, and site logo.…All this is available under the site identity,…but you can also directly to them by clicking these…edit buttons here, so if I want to edit the site title,…I simply click the edit button, I'm taken to the…site identity section and site title,…and here I can type in any title I want.…
Now, as you can see, when I type it, it automatically…updates in the page,…and I can see what it ends up looking like.…I can also test this on separate screen widths…to make sure everything works correctly regardless…of the width of the device they are using.…If I don't want to display the site title and tagline,…maybe I have a header image with a logo in it or something…
