Challenge: Make location taxonomy - WordPress Tutorial

Challenge: Make location taxonomy
(upbeat music) - [Instructor] Now that you know how to define and register a custom taxonomy it's your turn. Another way we can organize our business post type is by location. And we can also keep this taxonomy generic enough to apply to our events. So, in this challenge I want you to use what you've learned to create a location taxonomy. The name should be Location. You should enable the block editor only if necessary. Create the appropriate rewrite rules. Make this one hierarchical and include custom labels. Now, we haven't made a taxonomy hierarchical yet, but make sure to use the codex to help you out here. Imagine that we could have a broader location like the United States and then a child location, a smaller area, like New York. Be sure to use the custom code and the codex as reference material and you should have everything you need to complete this challenge. It should take around five minutes and you can check out the solution in the next video.
