Adding descriptions
- [Instructor] One of the useful features about WooCommerce that is a bit hard to find is the short description. That's a one or two-sentence description of your product that can be seen above the fold. And what's great about it is you don't really need to scroll down to read it, and it's not buried in a tab. If you have a short description set, it should be seen right here. Let's go to the Admin to add this in. I'll click on Edit Product. Here's what's known as the full description which appears beneath the product and in a tab. And here is the short description. Let's go ahead and add one. Let's click Update. And let's see what this looks like on the front end. There we go. Five new easy-to-cook recipes that'll make you feel good about your food and your body. This short description is what will convince users to read a little bit more, so right down here is where we'd see the full product description. A lot of people forget to add the short description, or they add it last minute…
