What to know before watching this course
- [Instructor] This course is custom tailored to those interested in becoming a Microsoft certified Word expert, a certification that will verify your expert knowledge of and competency in advanced document creation and design principles. This course is for intermediate to advanced Word users. While the MOS exam covers basic tasks like creating and formatting documents the main focus of the exam is on advanced features of the software. This course focuses on those intermediate to advanced features. If you need a refresher on basic tasks be sure to check out one of the other Word courses in the LinkedIn learning library such as the essential training course. To really get the most out of this course I recommend learners have at least six to 12 months of experience with Word. Also a requisite level of comfort creating and managing professional documents is suggested. We will branch off this knowledge to learn more about managing document options and settings, using advanced editing and formatting features, creating custom document elements, and using advanced Word features. If you're interested in becoming a Microsoft Office certified Word expert and are ready to prepare for the exam let's get rolling.
