Join David Rivers for an in-depth discussion in this video See more ribbon options as side panels, part of Word Tips Weekly.
- [Instructor] When working on…your documents here in Microsoft Word,…virtually every command there is available…can be found by navigating the ribbon.…It's made up of different tabs.…Within those tabs you see the different sections.…They're labeled accordingly.…And you'll also notice that some of the sections…have additional options that are currently hidden.…They're indicated by that little arrow…you see in the bottom right-hand corner.…Just hover over them to get a sneak peak…at some of the additional information.…Now, what you may not realize is that…some of these will open up as dialogue boxes,…the way the old versions of Word used to work.…
Some of them, however, will open up as panels.…Panels which can be locked into place on your screen…to give you easy access, constantly,…as you continue working on your documents.…So that's what we're going to explore…in this week's work tip.…Really doesn't matter what document you have open,…but if you do have the exercise files,…and you want to have what I have,…LeafAndMortar Letter 039 is the file I see here.…
