- [Instructor] When we select a data source, Word loads the field names or column names used in that data source as soon as it makes the connection. So I've chosen an existing list, we've chosen this one before, and the one that we will use going forward is from the chapter 1 folder, Catalog Requests. And when it opens, we're going to choose the Catalog Requests worksheet in the select table dialogue box and click OK. And immediately, it loaded last name, first name, street address, before it even loaded the data. One of the things that we want to do is make sure that the column names that are used in our data source match up with what Word is expecting to see in terms of column names. For example, in a list of people, Word is looking for last name. It's not looking for family name, which you might see on some lists. You might see Christian name on some lists. It's looking for last name. It's looking for street…
