- [Instructor] Sometimes in our documents we reference the same content over and over again, and when it's time to update that content, we may have to open several documents to do that. If you link to the document content from a data source, you'll be able to update multiple documents and graphics all at the same time, just by changing one document. In this video we'll insert content, but then we'll also link back to content. I'll show you how you can use an icon to link to content, too. This is our link document where we will insert the history information from another file, as well as locations and rates. Here is our history document that we'll be inserting. And I also have a document that has locations in it. And we're also going to insert a direct link to an Excel workbook. In your chapter two folder you have a room rates link icon document that you'll be able to practice linking back into a Word document. So…
