- [Instructor] At some point you may be creating a document here in Microsoft Word where it would be nice if items were numbered sequentially and automatically so you didn't have to do it. That's what we're going to explore using fields in this week's Word tip. We're gonna do it with this file, Tickets079, it's in your exercise files, and you can see, I've just started my first ticket with a ticket number area. This is a table, I'm just using banded rows, and I'm eventually going to copy what's in this one cell to the other green cells in this table, but before we do, we're gonna set it up for that automatic sequential numbering. So with your cursor flashing after the colon, next to ticket number, we'll go up to insert, then we'll go over to the text group here on the ribbon, click the quick parts drop down, and choose field. Now the field we want is a numbering field, so let's change the category here by clicking the drop down, to numbering. Next, we want sequential numbering, that's…
