Insert a cross-reference
- [Instructor] Cross-references make long documents more usable, friendlier, more readable. I'm going to show you how to create a couple of different types of cross-references in our document. And, this document is cross ref docx, in the Chapter 3 folder, if you're working with the files. To insert a cross-reference, you first go where you you want to insert it. And, we're going to do a find to find some different cross-references we might want to add. There are a number of places in our manual that have the word See, followed by a reference. See Section 3.13, for example. Cool. We're going to insert a cross-reference to Section 3.13, here. I'm going to keep Section 3.13, I think, the text, put a comma in, and a space, and then go to cross-reference. And, the cross-reference type I want to create is not a reference to Bookmark Text.
